Overview
  • The Reproductive Services Coordinator oversee the daily operations of the Division of Reproductive Medicine (DRM) that offers fertility assistance through donor insemination to people who desire to start a family and seek quality and sensitive health care without unnecessary barriers.
  • The DRM Coordinator's role is to ensure a safe, quality driven environment, consistent with the Feminist Women's Health Center and Division of Reproductive Medicine missions'.
  • The DRM Coordinator works in collaboration with the Consultant/Managing Physician and the Clinic Director to maintain and promote quality assurance measures such as, client advocacy and confidentiality, adherence to state, OSHA, and CLIA guidelines.
  • The DRM Coordinator participates in administrative tasks and works with CEAN on outreach projects within the community.
Requirements 
The DRM Program Coordinator must:
  • Have a flexible schedule, to potentially include weekend & holiday work, as well periodically facilitate evening marketing meetings. This will also involve on-call availability via phone 7 days/wk
  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent clinic work experience, with Master's degree preferred in Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • Healthcare & medical office setting experience preferred
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Expect 35-40+ hrs a wk for DRM-related responsibilities
  • Have an unwavering commitment to reproductive choice, LGBTQ-equality, and gender freedom.
  • Adhere to and promote the DRM policies and procedures
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be detail-oriented and approach time-sensitive tasks required in DRM work
  • Be collaborative with all coworkers and clients
  • Be self-motivated for managing the job requirements
  • Be comfortable with & supportive of alternative family structures & diverse communities served by the DRM Program
  • Be competent in certain aspects of Next Gen, such as appointment scheduling, and skilled at administrative tasks, as well as be able to assist the lab technician, nurse practitioner, or physician with any DRM client visit

DESCRIPTION

Feminist Women's Health Center (FWHC), located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking an Executive Director. Interested candidates should be prepared to demonstrate long-term success in leading a multi-faceted non-profit organization.

The mission of the FWHC is to provide accessible, comprehensive gynecological healthcare to all who need it without judgment. As innovative healthcare leaders, FWHC works collaboratively within the local community and nationally to promote reproductive health, rights, and justice. We advocate for wellness, uncensored health information and fair public policies by educating the larger community and empowering our clients to make their own decisions.

Reporting to the FWHC Board of Directors, the Executive Director will have a broad range of responsibilities and will work with an executive leadership team, a talented and independent staff, elected officials, medical personnel, enthusiastic volunteers, donors who have sustained the organization for 30 years, as well as partner agencies, both local and national. The Executive Director is expected to maintain an organization that respectfully meets the diverse needs of the various communities FWHC serves.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years relevant experience, the ability to communicate effectively, a demonstrated commitment to reproductive justice, a Master's degree or equivalent, vision and steadiness. In addition, interested candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The new Executive Director will be following an outstanding leader who has grown FWHC for the past 20 years.

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Cedar River Clinics is seeking an Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to administer conscious or moderate sedation to adult women in an abortion clinic. The successful candidate will provide sedation services in our Renton and Tacoma clinics.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide appropriate and effective anesthetic services in a safe and professional manner.
• Practice under established standards of care relative to conscious sedation, analgesia and anesthesia throughout the facility.
• Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient, selecting, ordering or administrating pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.
• Develops and implements an anesthesia plan individualized for each patient.
• Consults with the provider on the anesthesia plan for individual patient.
• Selects, obtains or administers the anesthetic, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs and fluids necessary to manage the anesthetic, maintain homeostasis and correct abnormal responses to the anesthetic or surgical procedure.
• Selects, applies or inserts appropriate invasive and non-invasive monitoring modalities for collecting and interpreting physiological data.
• Manages a patient's airway and pulmonary status.
• Manages the patient's recovery from anesthesia by selecting, obtaining, ordering or administering medications, fluids or ventilatory support in order to maintain homeostasis, provide relief from pain and anesthetic side effects or prevent or manage complications.
• Releases or discharges clients from a post operative care area and provides follow-up evaluations and care related to anesthesia side effective or complications.
• Responds to emergency situation by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs or basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS
• Current licensure and certification in the State of Washington.
• Current CPR, ACLS and BCLS.
• Thorough knowledge of and experience as a provider of anesthetic services and airway management under the general direction of the medical director.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
