Job description
WOMEN'S
WAY, the leading women and girls funding and advocacy organization in
the Greater Philadelphia area, seeks a Director of Grantmaking to manage
all aspects of the organization's grantmaking programs. The Director of
Grantmaking reports to the Executive Director and will work closely to
ensure the grantmaking programs are aligned with WOMEN'S WAY's strategic
goals and initiatives. This exciting position will be responsible
directing the ongoing Community Women's Fund and WOMEN'S WAY Action
Partners portfolios, managing a technical assistance program for funded
agencies, working with the WOMEN'S WAY grantmaking committee, organizing
the annual women's issues summit, developing evaluation metrics for
showing the results of our grant-making work and disseminating
information to the community about the impact of WOMEN'S WAY's grants.
Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree; 5 years of nonprofit experience, preferably in philanthropy; excellent written and presentation skills; exceptional interpersonal skills; and be able to work independently. The Director of Grantmaking will be expected to provide expertise on the evolving needs of women, girls, and families in the region, as well as the nonprofits that serve them. Graduate degree and grant evaluation experience a plus. Open to flexible work arrangement and/or possible varied schedule.
