Job Summary:
The Call Center Patient Services Specialist (PSS) provides telephone response to all calls placed to the centralized call center of Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, which serves seven PPLM health centers and PPLM’s administrative offices. The Call Center PSS schedules appointments, fields inquiries about PPLM services, and triages phone calls to clinical and administrative staff as appropriate, while providing excellent customer service. The PSS works collaboratively with health center staff to ensure that patients are scheduled accurately, know what expect during their visit to the health center, and understand payment requirements.
Requirement Details:
  • Some college or advanced study in human services preferred.
  • Prior computer experience (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.
  • Previous experience with electronic health records strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a health care setting strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate information efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview
The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the President and other staff, and maintains NEW’s Training Facility. This position reports to the President and the Operations and Grants Manager. The Executive Assistant duties include:
  • Maintain Executive calendar and assist with the collection and preparation of materials for meetings, events, and deadlines;
  • Receive, open, and distribute all mail;
  • Serve as liaison to the Board of Directors and prepare Board mailings and minutes;
  • Organize and maintain executive, foundation, communications, contract, vendor and board files;
  • Manage off-site file archives;
  • Assist with communications efforts including creating press clips and press kits, ordering communications materials, and handling press calls and photo shoots;
  • Process invoices and check requests for President and Finance Director, when needed;
  • Monitor office supply and cleaning supply inventory and place all staff orders;
  • Manage job postings and responses;
  • Responsible for building management, including management of building maintenance vendors, scheduling of repairs, overseeing cleaning contract, and maintaining keys.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and flexible. S/he has excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoys working with a variety of people. S/he also possesses the ability to take initiative, work independently, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities. NEW seeks candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
  • B.A. or B.S. degree

VOF Program Manager
Reports to: Program Director
Works directly with: Online Community Manager, Campaigns Manager, Editorial Manager, Finance and Development teams.
Oversees: Voices of Our Future Program Coordinator.
The Voices of Our Future (VOF) Program Manager is a highly professional and innovative individual who plans, implements and expands VOF, World Pulse’s online training program in new media, citizen journalism and empowerment for grassroots women leaders.
The VOF Program Manager works closely with all other World Pulse Program Managers as well as the Program Director to ensure the smooth and integrated delivery of our flagship training program. S/he will ensure that VOF continues to be a reputable program that equips women with the skills they need to vocalize and actualize their visions for change. S/he will explore, strategize and implement the expansion of VOF training modules, outreach training and tools for use by the broader Online Community and steward training and outreach toolkit development and implementation. S/he works closely with program partners and the Development team to maximize resources.
Candidates should be passionate about World Pulse’s mission, possess an outgoing and encouraging nature, relish networking, organizing and directing volunteers, have excellent communication and writing skills, and enjoy empowering others to actualize and vocalize their visions for a better world.
Duties/Responsibilities-Voices of Our Future
Program development and management
  • (Lead) Create annual workplan and communicate key dates to entire team
  • (Lead) Refine and expand (as needed) VOF curriculum and program design
  • (Lead) Develop strategy for and implement expansion of VOF learning modules and outreach model to broader community
  • (Lead) Learning strategy and curation of e-learning and toolkit development for Online Community & WP.com.

JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Manage donor database.
  2. Create and oversee implementation of annual fund mailing schedule.
  3. Develop, manage and coordinate activities to reach existing and new donors.
  4. Track and report on success of solicitation strategies.
  5. Assist program Directors in developing strategies for communicating program accomplishments with stakeholders.
  6. Responsible for acknowledgement of all donations.
  7. Develop and ensure consistency in messaging and branding in both internal and external communications by providing editorial, style and delivery assistance to staff and stakeholders
  8. Develop effective outreach materials for staff to conduct program outreach.
  9. Create and develop quality annual report, bi-annual newsletters, monthly e-newsletters, flyers, brochures and outreach materials.
  10. Provide direction for ReWA’s website structure, ensuring that new information is regularly added to the site.
  11. Manage communication files including photo, audio and video management and news clippings.
  12. Work primarily with the Executive Director, Annual Gala Committee and staff to set fundraising goals and planning for the agency’s annual gala.
  13. Oversee design, printing and distribution of informational materials targeted to achieving attendance goals.
  14. Research and secure sponsorships and in-kind donations for the annual gala.
  15. Oversee annual fundraising event budget.
  16. Update and maintenance of ReWA’s social media sites, including Facebook page.
  17. Site procurement and coordination; serve as primary contact for event venue.
  18. Enlist, assign and oversee volunteers for event planning assistance, preparation, actual event, and event wrap-up.
  19. Organize, publicize, and coordinate agency’s events, including Programs’ events.
  20. Coordinate other fundraising activities such as house parties.
  21. In collaboration with management and staff, plan and implement the annual International Women’s Day.
  22. Responsible for coordination and implementation of the annual Refugee and Immigrant Legislative Day.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Three years’ experience in donor management and event planning.
  • Proven ability in composing quality written materials, including newsletters and annual report.

  • Proven experience in web-site management.
