Fintrac has worked for over 20 years to increase incomes and improve livelihoods for the world's most vulnerable farm families, while also building sustainable commercial value-chains.

Bellmon Estimation Studies for Title II (BEST) Project

The USAID-BEST Project analyzes local markets to assess the impact of a potential food assistance program on a country's local economy. The team member will play a key role in both field work for individual research studies, and engaging in ongoing capacity building of junior team members and relevant external stakeholders.

THE CANDIDATE

•The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field (minimum Master's degree - PhD preferred) in agricultural economics, agribusiness, or applied economics. •He/she should also have directly relevant work experience conducting analysis of agricultural markets in the context of developing countries. The position calls for an analytical thinker, a creative problem solver, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
