INTRODUCTION
Allies in Change Counseling Center is a small social activist organization specializing in anti-domestic violence education and counseling looking for preferably licensed therapists to co-facilitate evening groups working with abusive men. Come join our diverse and dynamic team.
DESCRIPTION
Allies in Change Counseling Center is a private adult psychological services center. We offer group counseling for men and women specializing in abuse intervention and anger management. We also offer individual and couples counseling for men and women for a variety of issues including: managing emotions such as anger, depression, stress, and anxiety; building greater intimacy and connection in relationships with others including romantic partners, family members, and friends; coping with significant changes and transitions in life related to relationships, work, family, health, and other issues; and identifying and addressing behaviors that can undermine one's happiness, such as addictions.
Employment Position: Group co-facilitator, license is preferred but not required.

Employment Status: Part time, minimum commitment of two years, opportunities for increased hours over time.
Days & Hours: Days and hours vary based on groups and appointments. Evening hours are required. Occasional attendance at Tuesday morning staff meeting requested, but not required.
Reports to: Clinical Director and Operations Manager
Compensation: $100 per two hour group as lead facilitator. $50 per two hour group as co-facilitator.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· A masters or doctoral degree in a clinical field, preferably licensed
· Commitment to social activism and the agency mission
· Familiarity with domestic violence and/or feminist issues
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be able to handle stressful situations and/or clients
· High comfort level working in a diverse environment
· A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
