JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - Clinic Manager, Sacramento, California
Women's Health Specialists of California (WHS) can never have enough extraordinary feminists on staff who want to change the world and work for reproductive justice. If you fit this description, we want to see your resume. WHS seeks a strong, pro-choice individual to provide management for Women's Health Specialists in Santa Rosa, California. The Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall development, management, recruitment, training and supervision of clinic staff and services. The Clinic Manager coordinates an array of community services including educational programs, community outreach and advocacy.
Skills, Talents, Abilities Required:
  1. Active in reproductive justice and community affairs.
  2. Ability to lead, plan and manage change.
  3. Creative, root-cause problem solving.
  4. Experience in personnel supervision, recruitment, and training.
  5. Establish rapport with business and community organizations.
  6. Organize and evaluate data.
  7. Develop and implement systems and programs.
  8. Willing to learn or do public speaking.
  9. Inspiring supervisory skills.
  10. Ability to work under adversity (anti-choice protestors).
WHS is a feminist women's health center providing reproductive health services, including abortion, to over 35, 000 women and men per year since 1975. Our non-profit organization operates 4 licensed community clinics and three satellite clinics, serving a 40 county region of California. Other WHS programs include: Adoption Choices of Northern California, Young Women's Health Leadership Program, Community Outreach and Education Program. We are an outstanding team of dedicated individuals that work not only to better women's and men's lives through prevention and health education but to advance reproductive justice for all people.
