This key role will be responsible for leading our Project Office which has undergone significant change since Tropical Cyclone Pam hit in March 2015. The Country Director is responsible for the overall planning and management of CARE’s development and humanitarian program and Country Office activities in Vanuatu. The role will provide strategic direction and management to ensure effective programming in a complex and changing environment.

We are seeking an experienced operational manager with a proven ability to lead through significant change, manage budgets, staff and programs. Your relevant experience in overseas aid, strategic and critical thinking skills as well as strong decision making skills will allow you to perform successfully in this position. Your excellent management and leadership skills, sound judgement, intellect and capacity to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships will set you apart from others.
