NARAL Pro-Choice Washington is the leading grassroots pro-choice political advocacy organization in Washington State. We believe that every woman should be able to make personal decisions about the full range of reproductive health options. NARAL Pro-Choice Washington works to protect every woman's right to access the full range of reproductive health options, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion. NARAL Pro-Choice Washington is the state affiliate of NARAL Pro-Choice America.
Our 35,000 members are mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sisters and brothers working together to improve reproductive health care in Washington state.
WORKING AT NARAL
We are three organizations in one, operating a 501(c)(3), a 501(c)(4), and a state PAC. Our combined annual operating budget is approximately $800,000 and like many nonprofits we have an entrepreneurial spirit and accomplish a lot with a little. Our team is creative, optimistic, and supportive of one another. We believe in open communication and setting clear expectations. We definitely believe in the importance of our mission, and we are always trying to work smarter, not necessarily harder, to deliver on that mission. There will always be more work to do though, and this is the kind of place where you will be asked to pitch in on projects that might be outside your area of expertise. If you like wearing many hats and being exposed to all areas of an organization, this could be a good fit for you!
