Peace Action West is a fun and healthy working environment that provides anyone with the desire to change the world with the political organizing skills necessary to create and maintain a strong grassroots contingency.
We offer plenty of opportunities for advancement within our organization, and provide the background and skills needed for a career with political advocacy groups and other non-profit work.
Phone Outreach Organizers strengthen our grassroots base by updating and educating our members, encouraging activism and raising funds. We run six phoning shifts per week, and ask phoners to commit to at least four of them. Our evening shifts run from 5:30-9:30 PM Mon-Thurs. We also run two day time shifts, on Friday from 11:30 AM -3:30 PM and on Sunday from 3-7 PM. We provide paid training, so no experience is necessary.
Peace Action West is a pro-feminist, queer-friendly and multi-cultural workplace. Women, People of Color and LGBTQQ people are encouraged to apply.
