DESCRIPTION
Langley Association for Community Living is accepting FEMALE applications for a part time position supporting a young women in her home.
The successful applicant will be supporting an individual with Autism and complex behavioural needs. This program requires the applicant to be a creative, high-energy self starter who is able to develop and implement goals suitable for the individual, while being flexible to the changing needs of the both the individual they are supporting and the program in general. The ability to collaborate and build confidence with family members is a definite asset. Good communication and organizational skills are also required.
This is a Part Time position offering 30 hours of employment per week. The rate of pay is $18.27/hour with a comprehensive health benefits. Applicants will be required to have standard first aid, TB certificate, doctor's certificate of good health, food safe certificate, clear criminal record check, a valid class 5 drivers license with the ability to obtain a class 4 license.
