 Olakh (means 'Identity'), is a feminist organization established in 1993 to challenge existing discriminatory patriarchal mind-set and structures of power relations as manifested in gender, caste, class, religion and ethnicity; to promote dignity and justice for all. Olakh’s work revolves around two concepts: ‘Jagya’ (Space) and ‘Samvad’ (Dialogue). Olakh is undergoing a transition and would like to bring new energy into leadership roles. Olakh seeks to have committed, energetic and visionary wo_men who share similar thoughts and are passionate about working for a just and equal society. We prefer individuals who self-initiate, are capable of leading and coordinating the program independently; with varied and innovative skills and who are passionate about working with diverse stake holders and groups in urban and rural areas. 1) Associate Coordinator to look after overall management and progress of the organization, able to envision future direction along with day to day execution; plan and monitor day to day operations, provides ongoing support and guidance to the team. Wo_men should be expert in proposal writing, monitoring, reporting and coordinating with donors. You should be fluent in written and spoken English and Gujarati with excellent inter personal communication and documentation skills.

2) Coordinator for Resource Center (Book Lovers having interest in reading) to manage our Resource Center /Library including audio and video with contact database, Wo_men will be responsible for tracking and collecting relevant print and audio-visual material as per requirement, organize regular activities of Resource Centre viz. study circle, film screening and readers forum, facilitate and interact with daily users and visitors and respond promptly to their needs. Good command over Gujarati and English with translation skills (Librarians with IT background are welcome). Should be able to update and upgrade Olakh website and social media network. Training Coordinator: Responsible for organizing and conducting trainings, organizing seminars and workshops on Gender sensitization, Feminism, Women’s empowerment and other relevant areas. Identify training needs of various stake holders and organize accordingly mainly for youth and activists. Require excellent report writing skill along with the ability to collect both quantitative and qualitative data, photos and case studies. Wo_men should be able to handle the training as well as manage campaigns and events.

3) Administrator cum Accountant to manage day to day affairs related to admin and account with budgeting and financial analysis. Good written and spoken communication in Gujarati and English - basic correspondence and financial reports to various donors as per requirement. Manage all legal compliance with income tax, charity commissioner, home ministry etc.
