IWDA is currently seeking applications for a Program Manager, Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW).
The Program Manager works within IWDA’s Pacific Program Team as key program management and technical advisor to the Safe Families Program. The Program Manager will take primary responsibility for the relationship with Oxfam Solomon Islands for the Safe Families program in Solomon Islands. The position is responsible for ensuring IWDA designs and delivers targeted, regular, context specific training on gender and EVAW to build local staff capacity. The position will also provide input into learning activities, communications and knowledge sharing. The Program Manager will plan, organise and undertake regular technical input visits with partner organisations to meet contractual obligations.
Commitment to gender justice and sensitivity to women’s cultural and development issues are essential to the success of this role.
