DESCRIPTION
This position will work within the Community Health Action Department to provide programmatic and administrative support for the Youth Center, targeting Young Latino Men who have Sex with Men (YLMSM) and Young Latino Transgender Women (YLTG) 18 – 29). Assist Program Manager in tailoring, adapting and co-facilitating small group-level intervention curriculum for the Latino population living with HIV and in developing and implementing communication strategies that increase traditional and new media covered of social marketing campaign. The Associate will administer oral HIV antibody tests and provide test results.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Two-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in facilitating support groups and coordination of small groups activities working in a Latino community and diverse populations. Ability to develop and maintain positive communication lines with La Clínica del Pueblo's various in-house programs and manage phone/face-to-face crisis situations. Good writing skills in Spanish English and strong communication skills. Experience with word processing, database and spreadsheet software programs.
Salary Range: $31,517 to $36,245.
